What many Dentists who are of the opinion that “No way should Dentists do Botox® – they lack the training” or “How can you learn a whole new field in 2 days?” don’t realize and what all other healthcare professionals won’t tell you is, that all doctors have the same exact Botox® and Dermal Filler training – if you are lucky! The general protocol for MD’s who use Botox® is the exact same two day course or in some cases even a one day course to learn Botox® and Fillers. So if you are going to be of the opinion that Dentists should not perform Botox® maybe you have to rethink whether Doctors should perform Botox®.
Also I can’t answer for you but when is the last time you went to a family doctor and got a injection anywhere neck up? or a injection from a OB in the face?
