Dr. Louis Malcmacher, President, MAGD
Dr. Louis Malcmacher maintains a cosmetic and general practice in Bay Village, Ohio. He is an internationally recognized lecturer and author, known for his entertaining and comprehensive teaching style. He has vast experience in total facial esthetics and has taught tens of thousands of healthcare professionals in the areas of smile design esthetics and facial injectable therapy. He has also lectured at many major medical and dental meetings throughout the US, Canada, Europe, and the Middle East. Dr. Malcmacher has also been extensively featured in the general media. His interviews have been seen on CNN, Fox, ABC, CBS, NBC, 20/20, Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Jane, Shape, Washington Post, Cleveland Plain Dealer, Detroit Free Press, GQ, Edge, Newsweek, Reader’s Digest, and Men’s Health. Jill Charles, NP
Jill Charles is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and full-time faculty member at The American Academy of Facial Esthetics.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Mount Carmel College of Nursing in Columbus, Ohio in 2010. Following the completion of her undergraduate program, she worked as a Registered Nurse at Cleveland Clinic in Colorectal Surgery.
In 2015, she completed her graduate program at Ursuline College in Pepper Pike, Ohio where she received a Master of Science in Nursing degree. Jill worked as a Nurse Practitioner in Rheumatology at the Cleveland Clinic for almost 4 years before making the transition to Aesthetics.
Jill has found a true passion in aesthetics as her practice allows for the perfect blend of science, creativity and direct patient care. She also enjoys sharing her excitement and expertise with other health care professionals in her faculty role.
Crystal Wilson, MSN, CNP
Crystal is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner and is a full-time faculty member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics in Cleveland, OH. She received her Bachelor’s in Nursing from Youngstown State University in 2015 and worked at the Cleveland Clinic in Colorectal Surgery for 5 years. She received her Master’s in Nursing in early 2020. She always knew throughout graduate school that her end goal was to end up in aesthetics. She landed into the arms of the AAFE and completely fell in love. Now she gets to work full time teaching and injecting patients where she can combine her love for education, science and creativity.
Dr. David Kimmel, DABAM
Dr. David Kimmel is a general dentist in Bayonet Point, Fl. After demonstrating an expertise in advanced treatment techniques utilizing Botox and various dermal fillers, he was granted diplomat status with The American Board of Aesthetic Medicine. As an instructor for the Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry, he routinely lectures on laser physics and teaches laser and esthetic procedures. He has a unique practice integrating laser dentistry and facial aesthetic enhancements. His passion is sharing the art and science of facial aesthetics by teaching the relationship of combining anatomy, materials, techniques and patient’s desires.

Dr. BriAnna Leigh Schraw
Dr. BriAnna Schraw graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina, College of Dental Medicine in 2002. She practices general and cosmetic dentistry in Ft. Mill, SC, and enjoys tailoring her practice around the motto, “anxiety patients welcome, we cater to chickens” that she became known for, almost a decade ago. To that end, botox and dermal fillers have been fun and rewarding additions to her practice, which also focuses on CAD/CAM “one-visit dentistry”, sedation, and TMJ therapeutics. A member of the ADA, SCDA, DOCS and AAFE, Dr. Schraw is committed to learning and providing the latest in technology.

Dr. Jonathan Sykes
Dr. Jonathan Sykes is one of the most highly respected board-certified Plastic Surgeons in the United States. He specializes in facelifts, rhinoplasty and eyelid procedures, having performed more than 13,000 aesthetic andreconstructive surgeries. His impressive academic background includes national faculty positions, international lecturing presentations as well as extensive list of published articles specializing in all aspects of aesthetic and reconstructive facial plastic surgery. He is one of the world’s leading head and neck anatomists and one of the top key leaders in non-surgical injectable therapy using botulinum toxin, dermal fillers, and solid filler PDO Threads. Since 1989, Dr. Sykes has been Professor/Director of the Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Department at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento. He is a former president of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS), had pPublished more than 100 professional articles and contributed to three textbooks. Dr. Sykes frequently travels with charitable organizations to medically underserved areas to provide specialized health care services to children with cleft lips, cleft palates, and other cranial and facial deformities. Dr. Sykes serves as the director of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at The Roxbury Institute.
Dr. Peter T. Harnois
Dr. Peter Harnois runs two very successful esthetic practices at One Magnificent Mile in Chicago, and in suburban Hinsdale, IL. He is a nationally recognized leader in minimally invasive total facial esthetic techniques. He was an assistant professor of Oral Diagnosis at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry and is an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Harnois has instructed thousands of healthcare professionals through both lecture and hands-on courses and is an outstanding instructor.

Charley Cheney, DMD
Charley Cheney, DMD, is a highly skilled and dedicated dentist providing dental esthetics and facial esthetics treatment. Dr. Cheney graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. After graduating, he spent 11 years serving in the United States Army, where he saw active duty as a general dentist at Fort Benning, Georgia, and was also deployed to Baghdad, Iraq.
Dr. Cheney went into private practice after completing his military commitment. In his practice, Dr. Cheney treats every one of his patients with compassion, actively listens to their needs, and strives to develop trust in order to provide high-quality esthetic and therapeutic treatment. He loves teaching and helping fellow healthcare professionals deliver the best in esthetic and therapeutic treatment for their patients.
Megan Hayes, BSN, RN
Megan is a full-time faculty member at the AAFE Training Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Prior to her move to Cleveland, she worked as a float pool nurse in a trauma II hospital in Utah, and as an OR circulator and injector at a plastic surgeon’s office.
Megan graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Weber State University in Ogden, Utah, and is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Nursing Practice.
Megan is also passionate about health, nutrition, fitness and travel. She loves doing humanitarian work across the globe, focusing on malnutrition education.
Megan loves being in the esthetics industry, and especially loves the constant changes, improvements and continuing education that this field offers.
Laura Hala RN, BSN
Laura Hala is dually licensed as a Registered Nurse and Cosmetologist. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Michigan and has extensive education as an Esthetician. Laura has been the recipient of multiple service excellence awards as well as had the honor of being mentioned in the book “14 days, a memoir” for her exemplary care and compassion in the field of nursing. With a combined twenty years of experience in the medical and esthetic fields, in 2018 Laura became a co-founder of ATD Medspa where she currently works as an outstanding esthetic injector. Her real world experience combined with her infectious enthusiasm enhances her talents as an AAFE faculty member.
Dr. Tanya Shores
Dr. Tanya Shores DMD, practices family and cosmetic dentistry in Augusta, GA. She has been a healthcare professional for over 20 years, first as a dental hygienist and then as a general dentist. She is a pioneer in cosmetic dentistry and facial esthetics, opening the first dental spa in Augusta, GA. Her love for continuing education has honed her skills using injectable therapy for smile enhancement and total facial esthetics, as well as applying these agents for TMJ/orofacial pain trigger point treatment. She enjoys sharing her passion by helping to teach the art and science of facial esthetic enhancements.
Nick Greathouse, RN
Nick Greathouse is a Registered Nurse in Arizona with a background in Neurology/Neurosurgery as well as the Emergency Department. Nick started his journey in facial esthetics with the intention of treating patients for migraine and orofacial pain, however he soon become fond of the unique combination of therapeutics & esthetics. Nick opened his own practice in 2018 and regularly seeks new treatment options for his patients by integrating new techniques and services into his practice.
Additionally, Nick serves as the CFO/Treasurer for the non-profit organization, MEDspiration NFP, and works to to enhance the human potential by integrating healthy mind, body, and spirit into medicine. Nick has collaborated with many non-profit organizations to create opportunities to educate the community in maintaining good physical and mental health both locally, nationally, and internationally.
Mari Rodriguez, RN
Mari Rodriguez is a Registered Nurse in Arizona with over 15 years of experience. Her nursing background is diverse which includes Burn Center, Emergency Room, Medical- Surgical, and Oncology. Mari graduated with honors from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona obtaining her Master’s Degree in Nursing Leadership. She is currently pursuing her Post-Certification Nurse Practitioner degree. Mari’s desire to help others and bring innovative approaches to wellness is what drove her career in esthetics. She loves to train healthcare providers with AAFE and keeps up with the latest trends to bring safe, effective treatments to her patients in Queen Creek, AZ and to all the AAFE members that she has the pleasure to train.
Dr. Pauline Le
Dr. Le was born in Hawaii but grew up in Jacksonville, FL. She is a graduate of University of North Florida & earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University.
When Dr. Le began college, she explored multiple health fields, shadowed several dentists, & happily realized her passion is the interaction with her patients.
Through this passion, Dr. Le thrives by helping patients achieve their goals -big or small -in and out of the office. Her priority is providing the most advanced dental care in a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere. She emphasizes on practicing preventive and conservative dentistry by educating, encouraging, and empowering her patients to make lifestyle changes.
Her commitment to being a lifelong learner led her to choose the AAFE as she embarks on her injectable journey and she hasn’t looked back since! Dr. Le proudly shares AAFE’s focus on anatomy and safe techniques. She has found the sweet spot in her dental office for injectables and it allows her patients to look at dentistry in a different light.
On her time off, Dr. Le loves to travel & try all kinds of food. She has a 11-year old pomchi who has been alongside her throughout her career. When she’s not riding her bike at Jacksonville beach, she’s snowboarding in the Colorado mountains.
Dr. Victoria Nassif
Victoria Nassif, DDS, has been practicing general dentistry for over 20 years in Cleveland, Ohio. She is a graduate of John Carroll University and Loyola University Dental School. Dr. Nassif is an accredited member and mentor for the AAFE. She is a volunteer faculty member at Case Western Reserve Dental School. The addition of Botox, dermal fillers and TMJ therapeutics to her practice has been exciting and rewarding. Dr. Nassif has been actively involved in her community for many years. The service project most near to her heart is the soup kitchen she and her family run once a month.

Tammy Phillippi, RN
Tammy earned a BS in Business from Bowling Green State University in 1988. After working in business for a few years she realized her passion was in medicine. Tammy graduated from Kettering College of Medical Arts in 1993 with her nursing degree. After graduation she worked in the bone marrow transplant unit at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. In 1998 Tammy completed the Physician Assistant Program at KCMA and went to work for Wright State University in the family medicine department.
In 2010 her husband purchased a dental practice in Dayton. After a few years of practice they both realized that orofacial pain was a common theme in the practice. They both started taking courses with the AAFE and had private training in their office. Since then they have opened a medical spa in the dental practice. Tammy has continued her training with the AAFE and is honored to help mentor courses.

Susan Benesh, AGNP-C
Susan Benesh is a Nurse Practitioner in private practice focusing on Integrative Medicine. She earned Post-Masters from Johns Hopkins University and a Master of Science from University of Oklahoma. She holds a Fellowship in Functional and Metabolic Medicine through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, a Fellowship in Wilderness Medicine, and is a Forensic Nurse, and Legal Nurse Consultant. She was inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society of Nursing. She certified in Hormone Replacement, Neuromodulators, Dermal Fillers, Mesotherapy, Sclerotherapy and Smooth and Lifting Threads.
She is a faculty member in the Nurse Practitioner program at Purdue University Global. She is the author/editor of books and articles, and is a national speaker on a wide variety of healthcare topics. She has owned several successful businesses and has been featured in Entrepreneur Magazine, and on local and national media including CNN. Ms. Benesh is an avid outdoor enthusiast, with a special interest in working with Combat Veterans with PTSD through long distance kayaking and off-grid camping.
Dr. Marina Funtik, MS, FACP
Dr. Marina Funtik is a successful esthetic healthcare professional with two private practices in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She is a Board Certified Prosthodontist and specializes in treating complex and comprehensive cases of dental and facial esthetics and therapeutics. She began her facial esthetics career from the ground up with the AAFE and is now a full AAFE faculty member. Dr. Funtik serves on the board of the American Heart Association as a demonstration that whole health and esthetics is personally important to her overall treatment philosophy.

Dr. Shannon Galinis
Dr. Shannon Galinis DMD, is a very successful general and cosmetic dentist for 22+ years in Palm City, Florida. She is a proud graduate of Clemson University and the University of Florida, College of Dentistry.
Dr. Galinis blends her Dental Reconstructions and Smile Makeovers with her passion for Botox and Injectables, offering patients Total Facial Esthetics & Therapeutics. She absolutely loves the ability to blend science and art in creating beautiful faces. Teaching has always been her passion and she is excited to be part of the AAFE Faculty Family.

Dr. Melissa Amos
Dr. Amos’s passion for dentistry, facial esthetics, and patient care goes back to when she began working in her grandfather’s dental practice at the age of 13. Wanting to be able to treat not only someone’s smile, but everything around a smile led to her involvement with the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. Being able to combine dentistry and facial esthetics has given Dr. Amos the ability to transform her patient’s lives and increase their confidence in themselves.
Dr. Amos and her husband like to keep themselves busy. They enjoy hiking with their three dogs, Thor, Cooper, and Tucker. They also love to cook and take on home improvement projects.
Stephanie Stewart, PA
Stephanie is a Detroit native who became a physician assistant in 2014. After working in the emergency department for 4 years, she was feeling very burned out and contemplated even leaving the medical field altogether. Stephanie loves working with people and decided to take her first AAFE course early 2018 . She started her own practice called The Aesthetic Method in July 2018. She now have a bustling business in Ferndale, Michigan thanks to the AAFE and now is faculty with the AAFE because of her continuing commitment to learning and teaching the best facial esthetic techniques and helping her fellow professionals. Stephanie loves combining her medical knowledge and creativity to make people feel better about themselves. When she is not injecting or training with the AAFE, you can find her fostering dogs and traveling with her husband!
Dr. Grabill has been an esthetic dentist and healthcare professional since 1997 and has been providing injectable therapy for over 10 years. She is a distinguished AAFE faculty member who has dedicated her practice and professional life to providing her patients with the best treatment outcomes possible with the latest technologies. Dr. Grabill is an outstanding AAFE educator with her passion and commitment to total facial esthetics.
Dr. Vesna Sutter
For the past twenty years Dr. Vesna Sutter has prided herself on changing people’s lives. A smile is the strongest most genuine thing people can share with one another and she has dedicated her life to helping as many people as she can achieve the smile of their dreams. She is a 1986 graduate of Loyola Dental School and completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois Champaign- Urbana. The field of dentistry is constantly changing and in order to provide her patients with the best opportunities to change their lives Dr. Sutter has taken over 500 hours of continuing education in Implants, Sedation, Orthodontics, TMJ Disorders, Cosmetic Dentistry, Facial Esthetics, and Sleep Disorder Breathing Dentistry. She is an active member of many organizations.

Dr. Gregory Laurence, FAAFP, BC ABFM, ABLS
Gregory Laurence MD, is the Founder of Germantown Aesthetics in Memphis, TN. Having received his undergraduate and doctorate degrees from Baylor University and the University of Texas at Houston Medical School. Dr. Laurence fulfilled his initial specialty training at Saint Francis Family Medicine at the University of Tennessee. He then completed a fellowship in Advanced Women’s Health, also at the University of Tennessee. During a 12-year pursuit of every effective surgical and nonsurgical technique of face, neck, and body cosmetic enhancement, Dr. Laurence received certification from the American Board of Laser Surgery. He also earned fellowship status and was named president of the American Society of Cosmetic Breast Surgery. Dr. Laurence has expanded the traditional use of technology and pioneered several innovative, minimally invasive aesthetic techniques with an exceptional interest and commitment to facial aesthetics. Dr. Laurence has represented the industry by being involved with overseas promotion of international devices. He is one of the few certified faculty, teaching the platelet rich plasma Vampire™ face and body techniques.

Dr. Jill Lezaic
Dr. Jill Lezaic is a Board Certified Family Physician who opened a very successful aesthetic practive, Laser Skin Solutions Jacksonville, in Jacksonville Beach, Florida in 2008 after having served as a medical director of Laser Skin Solutions since 2004. Dr. Lezaic is a frequently requested and nationally recognized speaker, expert panelist and trainer at many conferences where she has led audiences in advanced demonstrations of lasers, botox and filler injections. Dr. Lezaic is especially well-known for performing thousands of advanced laser techniques, utilizing the most state of the art technologies available in combination with advanced Botox and Dermal Filler techniques to achieve dramatic non-surgical results. She is a Fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery and a Luminary speaker for various aesthetic companies.

Daniella Gery, CNP
Daniella Gery is a board certified Adult Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Bachelor's of Science of Nursing degree from Case Western Reserve University and her Master's of Science of Nursing from the University of Michigan. After practicing in the Madison, Wisconsin area for 6 years, she has returned to Cleveland, OH as the CNP for ANEW MedSpa.

Dr. Scott Frey, MSD
Dr. Scott Frey graduated with honors from the University of the Pacific Arthur A Dugoni School of Dentistry. Following graduation, Dr. Frey held a part-time faculty position at the University of the Pacific teaching dental occlusion and esthetics while working in private practice. For achievements in preventive and minimally invasive dentistry, he was inducted as a Fellow to the World Congress of Minimally Invasive Dentistry and has gone on to found MorethanSmiles.org. Dr. Frey completed his orthodontic training at the University of Colorado, and is an accredited member and mentor for the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.

Dr. Sylvia M. Kramer
Dr. Sylvia M. Kramer is a Clinical Senior Instructor at the Case School of Dental Medicine and general dentist with vast experience in the areas of pharmacology, medical emergencies, and facial esthetics. She has trained dental professionals for the past twelve years in these areas and is known for her comprehensive and thorough style of teaching to make sure her audiences walk away with the clinical expertise necessary to treat their patients. Dr. Kramer has taught many healthcare professionals and has been highly praised for her continuing education classes on a variety of topics including Botox and Dermal Fillers treatment to help the baby boomer generation who seek these services to age gracefully.

Dr. Amber Wiebe, FAGD, FICOI, FIDIA
Dr. Amber Wiebe maintains a successful facial aesthetic and cosmetic dentistry practice near Destin, Florida. She is a Fellow of the American College of Dental Sciences and is an active member of the AACD, AGD, and ADA. Dr. Wiebe is also a proud graduate of the University of Notre Dame and the University of Florida College of Dentistry. As an avid health, fitness and nutrition enthusiast, she appreciates the importance of facial aesthetics in overall healthy appearance for her patients.

Jami Nelson, RN
Jami Nelson started her career in the medical field in 1991 when she began employment as a Certified Surgical Technician. For over a decade she worked in many specialties and quickly developed a passion for the field of plastic and reconstructive surgery. In a very busy practice, Jami works as the leading facial esthetic clinical nurse delivering non-surgical minimally invasive treatments using injectable therapy. She has advanced certification in non-surgical esthetic and therapeutic facial injectables and other minimally invasive procedures. Jami is committed to sharing her years of knowledge in educating others and share her passion for total facial esthetics.

Dr. Olinga Hargreaves, DABOI, FAAID
Dr. Olinga Hargreaves maintains a cosmetic and general dental practice in Denver, Colorado with a heavy emphasis in oral surgery and IV sedation. She received her DDS degree with Honors from
University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1999 and completed the General
Practice Residency Program in 2000. Dr. Olinga has hospital privileges at Rose Medical Center
where she is currently the Chief of the Dental Division in the Department of Surgery. She is a
Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology, Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantology, Fellow of Misch International Implant Institute, and Fellow of Pierre Fauchard Academy.

Dr. Mason Miner
Dr. Mason Miner is a general dentist in Durango, Colorado. He is a graduate of Marquette University School of Dentistry. His practice has an emphasis in laser dentistry, facial esthetics as well as the surgical placement and restoration of implants. He has laser Mastership Certification with the World Clinical Laser Institute (WCLI). Dr. Miner served 2 terms on the Colorado Dental Board. Outside the office, Dr. Miner enjoys traveling and the outdoors. He enjoys sharing his knowledge at AAFE courses and watching professionals reach their full potential.
Dr. Tom Streko
Dr. Thomas C Streko is a graduate of Rutgers University, New Brunswick, with a degree in Biological Sciences and Psychology. He received his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He has made a career of continuing education and has developed expertise in all aspects of dentistry emphasizing on implant placement, surgical procedures, and complete rehabilitation of the dentition. Using advanced concepts in general dentistry, Dr Streko delivers the highest quality of comprehensive dentistry in addition to TMJ therapy, Ozone dentistry and dental facial esthetics with Botox and dermal fillers.

Dr. Caron Glickman
Caron Glickman, DDS, has been practicing general and cosmetic dentistry for over twenty-five years in the Seattle area. She attended Mills College in Oakland, CA and obtained her dental degree from the University of Washington Dental School, where she also completed post-graduate training in care for medically compromised and disabled patients. In the last couple of years, she has expanded the scope of her practice to include TMJ therapeutics, and facial esthetics with Botox, Dermal Fillers and Kybella,. Dr. Glickman is a member of the WSDA, ADA, and the AAFE. She divides her time between Duvall, WA and Calgary, Alberta, and is active in both communities. In her spare time, she enjoys volunteering and traveling with her husband.

Dr. Jake T. Hester
Dr. Jake Hester is a graduate from the University of Florida practicing in Naples. He is an active member of the Collier County Dental Association as well as the ADA, FDA, AGD, and most recently the AAFE. For over three years, Dr. Hester has been a volunteer faculty member of the University of Florida. Currently, he serves on the board of directors of Gulf Coast Runners and volunteers much of his spare time to many service organizations and charitable causes.

Dr. Michael Troop
Michael Troop, DDS is a general dentist of 32 years who practices in Centennial, Colorado. He became interested in Facial Esthetics and took the AAFE Level I and II courses in 2010, followed by the Level III course in 2011. Through internal and external marketing, his Facial Esthetics practice has grown rapidly. He began mentoring for AAFE in 2012 and enjoys helping other doctors develop their injecting skills, and feels fortunate for having a part in the AAFE to teach injectables for increased success in dental esthetics cases.

Dr. Elizabeth Slocum
Elizabeth Slocum, DMD, has been practicing general and cosmetic dentistry for over twenty years in Cartersville, Georgia. She is a graduate of Radford University and Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. David Martin maintains a successful facial aesthetic and cosmetic dentistry practice Totowa, New Jersey for the past 40 years. He is a Master in the Academy of General Dentistry and is an active member of the ADA, IICMO and IAPA. Dr. Martin understands healthy smiles and facial esthetics can serve you with lifelong comfort, confidence and happiness. Dr. Martin has taken extensive courses at the world renowned Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI), a leader in cosmetic dentistry techniques and smile design. Dr. Linda Gordon, ACNP, BC, DNP
Linda Gordon is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh Doctor of Nursing Practice with dual certifications in Acute Care as well as Adult Care. Linda is board certified by the American Nurse Credentialing Center. Wellness and Therapeutic Lifestyle interventions centered around cardiovascular health have been a core focus of her practice. The addition of esthetics was a natural fit. Patients who feel good about their appearance tend to take better care of their total health. The AAFE has been a wonderful organization providing on going education and valuable forums for discussion in her practice development.
Dr. Paul Lombardo
Dr. Lombardo is a General Dentist who has advanced training in reconstructive and cosmetic dentistry. He takes great pride in his ability to offer complete care in a comfortable setting.
He received Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Psychology from the University of Massachusetts. Dr. Lombardo then earned his Doctorate in Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) from Boston University School of Dental Medicine. He completed an externship at Hanscom Air Force Base focusing on oral surgery, general and cosmetic dentistry. He is fully licensed in conscious and nitrous oxide sedation. In addition to private practice Dr. Lombardo was a Clinical Instructor at Boston University School of Dental Medicine. He continuously advances his professional education attending courses in all specialties of dental medicine.

Dr. Lance Culley
Dr. Lance Culley is a periodontist who graduated from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and completed his residency in periodontics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and the Birmingham VA Medical Center. His private practice focuses on surgical reconstruction of the jawbones for dental implants, surgical placement of dental implants, periodontal plastic surgery, and facial esthetics. He has a natural passion for aesthetics, and in continuing his quest to enhance overall aesthetic results for his patients, he found the American Academy of Facial Esthetics AAFE.
Dr. Culley has developed advanced techniques such as the Sanguine Gum Rejuvenation™ where PRP is used in periodontal plastic surgery to help rebuild lost gum tissue, eliminating a second surgery. Dr. Kristina Keturka graduated from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. After graduation she completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Colorado, where she received advanced training in oral surgery and endodontics. She has continued her post doctoral education further and earned a Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry ,a Fellowship from American Academy of Facial Esthetics and a Fellowship from Special Care Dentistry while continuing advanced training in dental implantology through the ICOI, GDIA and AAID. Dr. Keturka is passionate about teaching and her faculty position with the AAFE where she teaches courses on Botox, dermal fillers, threads and other facial esthetic procedures designed for dentists, physicians, and nurses throughout the US.

Dr. Kathleen F. Olender, MS, FICOI
Dr. Olender completed her undergraduate studies at Bucknell University, Lewisberg, Pa and received a BS and DDS degree from the University of California, San Francisco. She earned both a specialty certificate in Endodontics and a masters degree in Radiology from the University of Louisville,KY. Dr. Olender trained in orofacial pain under Daniel B. Green and worked in UCSF pain clinic for many years. She has utilized Botulinum toxin and trigger point injections in the treatment of facial pain for almost thirty years. Dr. Olender has held faculty positions at UCSF, University of Louisville, and Tufts Univ, Boston.and lectured for UNR GPR program and UNLV. She has also lectured on Endodontics, pain, bone physiology, and dental implants both nationally and internationally since 1993. Dr. Olender has been in private practice in San Francisco and practiced the last 24 years in Las Vegas. Her Las Vegas practice is dedicated to Endodontics, Implantology, pain, and facial aesthetics. She has participated in organized dentistry and has held chair positions in the AAE, been a delegate for the NDA, and is a fellow of the ICOI. She is an accomplished equestrian and enjoys competitions in her spare time.

Dr. Caroline Thomas
Dr. Thomas graduated from Clemson University and then received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from The Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. She furthered her training in St. Petersburg, Florida by completing a one-year residency program where she gained invaluable experience with cosmetic and implant dentistry, occlusion, TMJ disorder, as well as complex full-mouth dental care. Dr. Thomas greatly values the importance of continually learning, spending many hours each year as a student herself, and she also writes articles for major dental publications and travels nationally teaching.
After wonderful advanced training with the AAFE, Dr. Thomas began the facial injectables side of her practice - The Aesthetic Collective. She greatly appreciates how the art and science of dentistry and facial esthetics work to enhance each other. Dr. Thomas’ focus is on truly listening to the patients’ goals and desires while providing a comfortable experience and safe, therapeutic treatment.
Dr. Shawn Michael Fox
Dr. Shawn Michael Fox maintains a cosmetic and general practice in Visalia, CA. He graduated from California State University, Fresno with a B.S. in Chemistry, where he worked in the industry before attending dental school at New York University. Dr. Fox completed one-year residencies in the fields of Oral Pathology and TMD. He practiced in the United States Navy and completed a General Practice Residency at Camp Pendleton, CA. Dr. Fox has expanded TMJ therapeutics to include botulinum toxin. Dr. Fox joined the AAFE in 2016 and has successfully involved facial esthetics into the practice. Dr. Fox routinely travels out of country to provide humanitarian care in both the dental and medical fields.
