Aesthetic Dentist Training

We are the #1 provider of in-person, live patient injector training events for dentists and licensed practitioners. Learn about upcoming events in your area.

What You'll Learn

Dentists are among the best equipped medical professionals to treat Bruxism, TMJ, and migraines. The American Academy of Facial Esthetics has provided more than 15,000 dental professionals with the training and tools to use botulinum neurotoxin and dermal fillers to manage bruxism and enhance patients’ facial aesthetics. Upon completion of the Level 1 training course, you will be able to provide treatment for facial pain, trigger points, TMJ syndrome, and migraines.

AAFE certified dentists are able to safely and effectively use Botox (™) and other dermal fillers, including Xeomin, to provide patients with nearly immediate pain relief and results. The AAFE through its hands-on, in-person training courses is the only provider of anatomically based training in non-invasive face injectables for dentists and dental professionals.

Don’t settle for referring patients to other practitioners when you can provide premier service in your own practice. Expand your practice and tap into a significant source of revenue in a growing field. The typical AAFE member adds an average of about $30,000 per month in production upon completion of training if they incorporate treatments for facial pain, facial aesthetics, and dental sleep medicine in their practice.

Botulinum Toxin Level I DDS & DMD

Botulinum Toxins & Dermal Fillers Level I course provides professional dentists with the necessary foundational tools to incorporate injectables and the principles of aesthetic dentistry into their practices.

The courses cover the pharmacology and physiology in a hands-on environment with trainings led by expert practitioners. Upon completion of these courses, members will be able to accurately create treatment plans that deliver the best possible aesthetic and therapeutic outcomes.

Frontline TMJ and Facial Pain Therapy

The AAFE’s courses are specifically designed for medical professionals, implementing an anatomical and technical approach to the courses. In the AAFE’s Frontline TMJ and Facial Pain Therapy courses, you will learn ways to quickly and accurately discern whether facial pain is coming from the TMJ, neuralgia, ear, eyes, or facial muscles. You will learn to create a treatment plan and offer effective treatment for your patient’s TMJ, bruxism, and myofascial pain.

Frontline TMJ and Facial Pain Therapy courses include live-patient administration and practice with model patients. Upon completion of the Frontline TMJ and Facial Pain Therapy Level I course, dental professionals can immediately incorporate their new knowledge and skills into their practice. You will learn a full list of diagnosis and treatment codes for proper billing.
