Restylane

American Academy of Facial Esthetics Trained Physicians, Dentists and Nurses

Restylane is a dermal filler that restores volume and fullness to the skin to correct facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds, also known as “laugh lines”, or the lines that run from your nose to the corners of your mouth.

Restylane is a gel made from non-animal-based hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring component of your healthy skin. Because of this, Restylane dermal filler is fully biocompatible with your skin, and no allergy testing is required before use. Medical literature has dozens of studies on the use of Restylane for over a decade, and with 1.4 million treatments in the United States, is now available in more than 70 countries.

Over time skin ages, losing hyaluronic acid which is a naturally occurring substance in your skin that helps provide fullness and elasticity. Hyaluronic acid plays an important role in transporting essential nutrients to your skin’s cells. As it diminishes with time, skin loses volume and increases the chances for wrinkles and folds to appear. By using Restylane dermal filler, the “water-loving” nature of the hyaluronic acid molecules attracts and maintains moisture in the space between cells, hydrating your skin, and increasing its volume and density. A single treatment of Restylane can last up to 6 months.

The American Academy of Facial Esthetics has trained more healthcare professionals then any other facial injectable training course!
