Come to the #1 Botox and Frontline TMJ, Headaches, and Orofacial Pain Live Patient Training Courses for Dental and Medical Professionals, Presented by The American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE).
This course will be held on September 16-17, 2017 in Hong Kong, China. Upon completing registration for this course you will receive email confirmation that will give you access to the Prepare On-Demand Module which includes the lecture, video and didactic portions of this course using the AAFE state of the art online education portal. The Prepare On-Demand Module must be completed as a prerequisite to taking the Practice Live Patient Module of this training course. The Botox Live Patient training will take place in the morning. The Dermal Filler live patient training will be in the afternoon.
For the best educational experience, please bring your own model patients. Model patients are not provided.
California dentists may use pharmacological agents such as Botox and dermal fillers only in conjunction with a bona fide dental treatment plan in accordance with Business and Professions Code section 1625 and that any cosmetic benefit from the use of such agents is incidental to the therapeutic use of those agents.
All hands-on training involving Botox procedures on live models/patients must be performed in conjunction with a bona fide dental treatment plan in accordance with Business and Professions Code section 1625.
TDIC Policyholders - TDIC intends to provide professional liability coverage for Botulinum and Dermal filler injections utilized in both therapeutic and cosmetic applications as described in our policy and Botulinum and Dermal filler Endorsement. Specifically, TDIC will provide coverage for Botulinum and Dermal filler injections legally administered relative to the prevention or treatment of dental conditions or diseases within the scope of the insured’s dental license.
At the course, attendees shall be required to provide written confirmation to AAFE that they have performed an appropriate dental examination and history on the model/patient and that the Botox procedure is part of a bona fide dental treatment plan in accordance with Business and Professions Code section 1625.
The AAFE will have all the necessary health history, diagnosis, and treatment forms at the course in order to comply with the above requirements.
Attendees will need to bring Botox to the course for patient treatment – the AAFE will contact you with ordering instructions.
