Perlane – What is it and How Can it Be Used

Perlane is a dermal filler used where moderate to distressing wrinkles and folds occur on the face. Approved by the FDA in 2007, this facial filler, is composed of transparent gel made up of hyaluronic acid, temporarily gives volume to the skin to help smooth out those severe wrinkles and folds.

There are minor side effects with Perlane peels, but your more youthful appearance will generally lasts about six to eight months. Hyaluronic acid molds very well to the facial contours and works perfectly with Botox® or Dysport® to target the different areas of the face.

American Academy of Facial Esthetics highly trained members will work with you to provide you with safe and quick treatments with no allergy testing needed. Perlane is a temporary natural substance so some future injections will be required especially around the lip and nose areas.
